[Between the Stitches] A little ocean-inspired magic for your needles, and one last chance for free knitting classes

Happy July, Reader!

Whether you're chasing the shade on a porch somewhere or you've got your toes in the sand this week, I hope you're finding a few quiet moments for your needles.

There's something about summer that makes me crave a project I can toss in a bag and just go ... no fuss, no fighting with a pattern, just easy, beautiful knitting. That's exactly what I have for you this week. It's a quick 4-minute read, so you don't miss a thing.

So grab your favorite cold drink, cozy up with your current WIP, and let's catch up Between the Stitches.

πŸŽ“ Last Day of the "Ohhh That's Why" Summit!

Today's the last day to catch the FREE "Ohhh That's Why" Summit with 25+ expert speakers sharing all those "ohhh, that's why!" moments ... the tips and tricks that finally make things click.

If you haven't had a chance to watch yet, there's still time to catch the free sessions from yesterday and today.

Want to keep the learning going even after today? Grab the Superpack for ongoing access to every presentation, all the speaker notes, and a big (virtual) stack of bonus gifts from me and the other speakers ... yours to revisit anytime.

Full transparency: if you decide to grab the Superpack upgrade using my link, I may earn a small "thank you" commission at no extra cost to you. It's a great way to support my work while building your knitting lesson library!

πŸ“Έ Pattern Spotlight: Sea Glass Memories Shawl

Sea glass starts out as something broken ... a discarded bottle, tossed aside. But the ocean gets ahold of it, and years later, it washes up on shore as a smooth, frosty little treasure. That's exactly the magic I wanted to capture with the Sea Glass Memories Shawl.

This asymmetrical shawl starts with just a few stitches, so you can watch it grow right from the very beginning. It's worked in a single skein of fingering weight yarn (solid, tonal, or gently variegated all work beautifully), and the elegant lace stitches catch the light the way sea glass does ... like little pieces of memory kept in a jar on a windowsill.

Want it bigger? Just keep knitting! The repeats make it simple to size up for a larger wrap.

The lace is easier than it looks ... just knits, purls, yarn overs, k2tog, ssk, and m1L. You'll get fully written instructions, a charted repeat if you prefer to work from charts, and a Stitch Count Table to help you stay on track along the way.

As a special treat, use code BEACHVIBES on Ravelry or Payhip when you grab my Sea Glass Memories Shawl pattern this week!
