🧶 Yarn Inspiration:
I’ll be sharing photos of gorgeous Coterie Shawls and Sweaters created by knitters like you - from solid colorways to stunning two-color options - to get your creativity flowing.
📏 Gauge Swatching (The "Speedy" Way):
Since the Coterie Sweater is knit in the round, your swatch needs to be knit in the round, too. But you don't have to knit a giant tube! I'll be showing you how to do a "Speed Swatch" - a technique where we carry the yarn loosely behind the work to mimic knitting in the round. PLUS: We'll talk about what to do when you have too many or too few stitches in your swatch.
🥢 Cast-On Mini Class:
We will talk about the Long-Tail Cast-On and German Twisted Cast-On, including tips and tricks. PLUS: I’m going to show you how I avoid estimating my tail length at all, which is especially useful for the Coterie Shawl.
➰ Stitch-By-Stitch Tutorials:
I’ll be doing a walkthrough of the special stitches used in the patterns so you can knit with total confidence.
