[Between the Stitches] A knitter's review that made me smile + two things to know!

Happy Friday, Reader!

I hope your weekend is off to a cozy start ... or at least that you've got a plan to spend some time with your yarn. 🧢

I have a few things to share with you today, including a pattern spotlight that honestly made me smile when I read the review, something big closing on Sunday, and something exciting launching on Monday.

So grab your favorite mug and let's catch up Between the Stitches. It's a quick one today ... promise!

πŸ“Έ Pattern Spotlight

I love when a reader's review perfectly captures everything I was hoping for when I designed a pattern. This one from Ravelry knitter marshael made my day:

"A real fun pattern to keep your interest ... Can't wait to wear with my jean jackets. Great written pattern and really appreciate the row tracker pages that are included in the package. Enjoying knitting this pattern and how quickly it is going."

YES. That's exactly it. Quick, wearable, and fun to knit ... with that little extra thoughtfulness in the details.

The Treasured Skein Scarfette was designed especially for Local Yarn Store Day this past April, and you can grab it in my Ravelry shop or on Payhip anytime. It's a perfect lightweight knit for the warmer months ahead.

β€‹πŸŽ‘ The Playground closes on Sunday

I didn't want you to miss this.

Sunday is the last chance to grab your free pass to the Knitting Skills Playground Bundle - a collection of 30+ premium knitting patterns and workshops from more than 20 talented designers, completely free.

If you've been meaning to sign up, don't wait! When the playground gates close this weekend, that's it.

And if "30+ patterns" sounds overwhelming ... don't let it be. You don't need to knit everything. You just need one project you're excited to cast on. That's it.

🎟️ Grab your free pass before Sunday

Once you sign up, you'll have until June 30 to claim the patterns and workshops you want to keep. It's time to play! πŸ›

β€‹β˜€οΈ Summer of Skills Challenge starts Monday!

Speaking of learning new knitting skills ...

On Monday, June 22, I'm kicking off the Summer of Skills Knitting Challenge inside the Stitch Society, and I would love for you to join us.

Here's how it works: you pick a technique you've been putting off (colorwork? double knitting? lace? cables? socks? brioche?), work through one of my on-demand workshops at your own pace, and finish a project you're proud of. All while a warm community of knitters cheers you on every stitch of the way.

4 weeks. Your choice of what to cross off your bucket list as you learn a new knitting skill you'll use forever. And did I mention ... prizes! πŸŽ‰

We're kicking things off with a live Zoom party on Monday at 11 AM Eastern Time, and a replay will be available if you can't make it live.

Your first month in the Stitch Society is just $34, and it includes the full challenge, your first pattern code, access to the complete workshop library, and our private community.

Today I'm wondering ... what kind of knitter are you? πŸ˜„

A) The Planner: spreadsheet of projects, yarn already wound
B) The Spontaneous Cast-On: whatever feels right that morning
C) The Eternal Optimist: 12 projects planned, will finish 2
D) The One Project Pony: one WIP, full commitment, no regrets

(I'm a C trying desperately to be a D, if I'm being honest. πŸ˜…)

Come share your answer in the group!

Thanks so much for spending a little time with me today! Whether you're squeezing in a few rows this weekend or just enjoying the idea of summer knitting, I hope this little moment adds some joy and yarnie inspiration to your Friday.

Until next time ... stay cozy, stay creative, and keep knitting what makes you smile.

And most of all - Knit Happy! πŸ’•
